tennis!
training was superb today. my class had the "mad tennis hit-out war". actually that isn part of the training and wasn supposed to be. but in the middle of match training, suddenly coach shouted "CARPARK!" and ran to grab his car keys and ran to his car. the whole class was in peals of laughter as we saw coach sprinting off (ehh. he's very fast.) and coach zorro also ran after him but ended up jogging. hahaha. carpark attendants :) so we all took advantage of the situation and had a huge "hit-out war". guys against girls. many tennis balls were flying all over the place in our attempt to hit the members of the opposite group. in the end only aravin(?) got hit as he stood at the net and challenged us to hit him. so victoria succeeded. well coach came back and victoria was like "ehh put on a sad face for him and pretend we're moaning for him." so we all gave him the "mourning face" and victoria went "coach. you got summon or not? see we're all so sad for you la!" and he said he didn but we all think he got.

schedule for this week!
monday: back to school for BIG (business interest grp). YF fellowship Meeting 2 at night.
tuesday: i know i got something but i cant remember what.
wednesday: shopping is it?
thursday: orientation week 0 - some dunno what.
friday: lunch with the mom.

school is starting in 7 days time (ughhh.), signing up for driving in 60 days time, sleep... now.

got dragged out of bed for a swim this morning. too tired and too grouchy. i had the "im effing sleepy so come mess with me and i will bite" face throughout the entire morning till about 11ish. too tired to swim so sat at the jacuzzi and sun-tanned for abit. sun came out and went back in. got pissed so went off to shower. came out half an hour later only to find dark clouds looming overhead without a trace of mr. sun. thunderstorm and heavy rain followed.

went to fourth uncle's office for lunch and to find my brother's book. long time since i last saw him. :)) hahaha. out of 6 uncles on my mom's side, number 1 and number 4 are like my ultimate favourite. too bad they dont talk much to each other. skies cleared abit. reached home around 2ish pm. checked last minute email and decided to take a nap only to get woken by 13mins (yeah. damn.) later by the alarm clock which also signalled i was late to meet mervyn. rushed all the way to church only to find out he wasn there. in the end he came like a whole 20mins late. lesson was great. i love my new group. i have officially stolen these teens from andrew. :) great bunch. my group got the open air area on the front steps of the church. basil wasn quite as lucky. he ended up having to change his place since the one given by mervyn was fully occupied. luckily no one in their right mind sits at the front steps of the church lest they have something to do.

massed with eunice and stefan. thankyou thankyou. then dinnered at kallang leisure center with the usual dinner people. the aunty susanne's and aunty catherine's family. edwina, cheryl and i got uber sleepy so we stoned at yoguru while having yoghut icecream after dinner at subway. brother spilled a whole cuppa on the chair and some random weirdo later got uber pissed when she didn even get wet. so edwina and i were like "okayyy weird". then we went off since the 3 guys (shaun, benjamin and brother) quickly moved over to another table and acted as if we spilt the drink. yeah right.

then walked around too. toyfare. :)) then home-ed at 10ish near 11pm. okay. im tired. private blogging soon.

-anyone's got the sister act soundtrack? i want to nick songs! (thanks to seraphine who got me hooked onto the song. yeahh one of my teens.)-

today was uber funnn okay! met huang szechieh a.k.a monkeyyy from the SWInG UK Camp @ Surrey West trip. like finally! we're in the same school now but we meet like what?!? once in a long long long time okay! hahaha.

anyways, we met at vivo city and i was late. okay iamverysorry. she was doing her piano theory homework (which reminds me that i dont have piano lessons for 2 weeks :) :) ). so we went for lunch at Burger King and we over-ordered our onion rings. talked about what happened at camp. i really miss the camppp! and the campers! and the crazy plane ride there which resulted in us feeling "air sick" upon touching down at london's heathrow airport. then we walked walked walked but didn try any clothes. and i saw a nice nice nice shirt from zara with 4 crayons on the front. omg i like! i shall get it soon which means... anyone up for the trip to either vivo or marina next week? :) and i still have yet to get my wallet. dannng!

then we went to catch a movie. we caught "the bucket list" which was really heart wrenchingly touching. omg it was so sad okay. it's about this 2 guys who met at the hospital and both of them had cancer. they both found out that they had approximately half a year to live, at the most, 1 year. so they came up with a list of what each intended to do before they "kicked the bucket" (which explains the title of the show.) and did things they had never done before such as skydiving and travelling around the world. however, they parted due to some unfortunate happenings such as an arguement which wasn really necessary and only met each other again when carter was at his death bed. carter then passed on first due to an unsuccessful surgery. the other guy did an eulogy at his funeral although he did not believe in any religion. it was super touching. and in the end, they were both buried at the same place, on the himalayas mountain. it does have it's funny bits especially when the rich guy's (the one who passed on later.) assistant is involved. although it may be a lil' dry at the beginning, the story builds up slightly later on in the show. their accent may also be a lil' hard to catch at the beginning. but all in all, this show is a must watch and dont forget to bring along those tissues!

then after the show, we went to toys 'r' us to take many many retarded photos and do many retarded stuff for about an hour. fun okay! photos will be up on http://shreksmudbath.blogspot.com but for invited readers only. should be soon because monkey is going to send me the photos! :) then we walked around and talked about different things. i really miss monkeyyy!

then on the way home, there was super heavy traffic at keppel. moving jam. so took forever to get home. but in time for dinner since i did say i was going home for dinner. okay that's all for today!

drumming is so fun! thanks for teaching me a lil', eunice!

so i got woken up by faye again. i swear i shouldn put my handphone by the side of my bed. the vibration sound sure is able to wake anyone up easily! well at least the smarter ones call my handphone if they need me to respond immediately. those who call the housephone dont stand a chance :D

lunched at Singapore Swimming Club with faye after her dreadful day at school. im really thankful my class wasn as sucky as hers. she had fish&chips and i had prawn paste chicken cutlet with rice. we shared a humongous bowl of soup between us which had alot of ingredients in it. i want to get a membership there but $33k is alot of ka-ching! ahh wells. the one i have should suffice.

bused back and she attempted to play the keyboard again. not too bad. at least "it's a small world" does sound a lil' like the actual song. not too bad really! and i spent the entire time watching "mind your language" which was introduced to me by eunice and friggy. it's hilarious beyond words. however, one must have a basic level of understanding of the english language and must be able to comprehend and appreciate dry humour. if one isn able to grasp the concept of english and has a shallow understanding for the lovely language, then one may not be able to catch the jokes in the show. im currently at episode 22. really funny! there was this episode of mr brown getting chased around the class by another person and he was climbing up and down the table and chairs to get away from her. it really reminded me of myself getting chased by mrs teo around the literature class because my shoes and socks were soaking wet after PE. weird reason huh. hahaha.

then we went to PP to get our "back to school stuff". i really love "back to school" shopping for stationery and all but i do dread the actual day where i actually have to "go back to school". though it may not be such a bad thing after all. shopping at borders and popular. i finally got my nice pencil box from borders. it's really really really nice (: and i guess i just spent a whole load of cash within a day. and im still going shopping with szechieh aka monkey at vivo on friday! i hope $40 something would suffice. im really drip-dry-broke. ahh wells.

you know what? i just came across this really interesting article on "today" the newspaper. surprise surprise. i do read the papers okayyy. like once in a blue moon lest it's the comics from the "life" section of the straits times which is pretty hard to resist reading through. i quite like the baby blues comics and also, zits from the sunday times. these 2 comics really allow you to relate your life to it. interesting eh?

well anyways, what this article actually said (in summary from my own understanding of the article.) that the cause of "late night sleeping" in youths can actually be atributed to puberty because of melatonin, a hormone that signals to our body that it requires rest and sleep. apparently, as teenagers enter puberty, melatonin is released into the body later and later and ambient light tends to "minimise the amount of melatonin secreted, and the constant use of computers could keep adolescents up past their natural bedtime, even after the lights are turned out.". the article also stated that "night owls" (like yours truly.) "also complained of low energy and 'impaired' daytime functioning." and that scientists have identified that "whether one's 'clock' will be naturally set for early or late rising" can be determined by one gene.

i like the part on "complained of low energy and 'impaired' daytime functioning" because i think it really is true! very often, my biological clock refuses to budge before 11:45am and only starts ticking when the clock strikes 8-9pm. and if you were to ask me to sit down and do sums at 2pm in the afternoon, more often than not you'll either find me falling asleep on the worksheets and books or i wont be able to sit still for more than 10mins without starting to fidget. or another result would be me complaining of fatigue. im sure i have many people who would be able to give a whole testimony on my above-stated behaviour. especially the church people and my nice tutors. ohh by the way, the tutor i gave hell to was a totally different case. that guy was a full-time ass i swear. and faye, vanessa and i actually marched into class 1.5hrs late and the duration of the class is 2hrs.

and apparently the genes is other cause. which doesn really show in my case because i seem to be the only "late-riser" in the house. the rest simply get up before 8am. hahaha. such an interesting article dont you think? well at least i think it's really interesting! except i dont agree on something the article said. it said "parents should rethink a tendency to let adolesents set their own bedtime schedules.". now, as the article specifically stated the word "adolescents", i firmly believe we should be allowed to set our own bedtime schedules given the hectic lifestyle and heavy workloads we have nowadays. imagine us going to school without completing our homework with the excuse "ohh. i had to sleep at 10pm (?!?) so i couldn finish my work.". wouldn that give adults another subject to complain about?

speaking of which, faye is still sleeping. hahaha. talk about a warped body clock.

oh i so cant believe this! the holidays have just flown by. like "WHOOSH!" it's gone! looks like the remaining 2 weeks of the holidays wont be a full 2 weeks of fun and relaxation since i've got to go back to school for orientation helpout thing for BSGIG main comm (compulsory. ughhh.) and thank you to the lovely classmates who are going to help me. :) and ohh ohh! there is still the BIG main comm (okay i cant believe we are on probation. ohh whadda heck.) thing on the 14th. great. just great. (sarcasm?)

so let's just enjoy the remaining days of the holidays shant we? let's look at this week's schedule.
monday: basil's dinner
tuesday: swimming with faye
wednesday: idk yet?
thursday: formation meeting
friday: vivo with szechieh

i want to rent those DVDs and finish watching all the movies i have yet to finish watching since i totally abstain from online-movie-ing during the school term. how good am i?!? orientation has started for the SP students and faye's out there mingling with new classmates. i cant believe mine starts on the first day of school! like you're going to stick your ass into some LT with a whole bunch of people you don't know. and i haven exactly been very fortunate for the previous semesters to have my old classmates be in the same class as me. hope it doesn end up this way for the brand new acad year.

okay. will update after the dinner and supper tonight.

EDITED :X
dinner was alright. so dinner was finally served at 8:37pm. tucked into delicious spreads like prawn paste chicken, cereal prawns, wasabi prawns, sambal kang kong, bittergourd with seafood, curry chicken and claypot tofu with minced pork at different taste @ frankel. met sabby cow moo moo at church before heading down there. bused then walked in.

talked so much rubbish over dinner. esp the relationship of erh-hem and erh-hem. hahaha. sab shrieks when she laughs. furt will wear a tiara with a nice wand as furt is queen. eunice was kind enough to be my "bin" cos i didn know how to eat the tofu thing. thank you very much :) basil has a super weird china classmate in aussie. omg that guy is whooppeedeedoo. hahaha. he has the hots for basil! and james was being gay as usual. friggy and francis came slightly before 9pm. francis had dinner and friggy had his lemon juice with a whole load of medications. ohh get well soon btw! talked all sorts of rubbish and most of which are too... nevermind. inside inside stuff. hahaha. inside as in not those top-secrets-like-the-president-is-going-to-jump-off-a-bridge type of inside stuff. more like... aiyahhh. infer from the word "INSIDE". hahaha. and friggy was singing "close to you" by the carpenters. and explaining about the birds. whadda heck.

supper consisted of sago with gula melaka, chendol and sago with honeydew. nice stuff. we only left when they were on the verge of throwing us out i think. hahaha. the guy actually came with the bill without us having to ask for it. ohh mann! james signed with his card. then friggy sent francis, sabby cow moo moo, james and myself home. thank you thank you. francis stop opening your eyes wide in joo chiat okayyy. hahaha.

anyways, WELCOME BACK BASIL KOR! and i hope you enjoyed the dinner.

why cant my face and ear not turn red sometimes?!? ahh.

tennis was an ultra killer today. the weather was terrible and i think my face is pretty red again. nevermind. thank goodness it's not burnt or anything. just warm. with all the mad amount of running we did, i wasn really surprised my legs were numb after. breakfast with faye at marine parade. then home-ed. she used the laptop while i went to sleep after taking a bath. slept till near 3pm before she went back. heard the game in the background while i slept. noisy aye hahaha.

huang szechieh! where are we going this week?!? i want to go shoppinggg! :)
before school officially (ugh!) starts.
